The Kindred Practice
Sitting at the core of the Kindred practice is a Person Centred Approach. Where counselling is shaped around you - your experiences, your relationships and what you need from the space. I believe people have the capacity for growth and change when they feel safe, understood and supported.
I offer in-person counselling from my practice in East Geelong, as well as online appointments. I work with individuals and couples experiencing a whole range of challenges, including relationship difficulties, separation and divorce, parenting challenges, burnout, grief and loss.

I create a space that feels warm and safe, but I am not a passive counsellor. We often begin with what is happening on the surface, using practical tools and strategies where they’re helpful, but also look more deeply at the patterns, emotions and experiences driving what is happening. I help put words to what may be difficult to understand or say, allowing change to become meaningful and lasting rather than simply offering relief in the moment.
My approach holds empathy and responsibility equally, and I’ll help you understand how you arrived here without losing sight of what may need to change.
At the heart of my work is a deep belief that even long-held patterns can shift - change doesn’t need to happen all at once - and often, it begins with clearer understanding, a different conversation or one small moment in which you’re able to choose something new.
